Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Erick Nolasco LLC (“I,” “me,” or “my”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit https://ericknolasco.com (the “Site”) or contact me through it. I am a Virginia limited liability company based in Hampton Roads, Virginia. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.

This policy covers the Site only. If you become a client, the personal and project information involved in our work together is also governed by the separate written agreement we sign for that engagement.

Information you provide

When you fill out a form on the Site, I collect what you choose to send:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, and message.
  • Start a project form: your name, email address, company or project name, a description of what you’re building, your project stage, the service you’re interested in, your timeline, your budget range, how you heard about me, and anything else you choose to add.

You don’t have to fill out these forms to browse the Site. If you email me directly, I receive whatever you include in your message.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, some technical information is collected automatically to keep the Site running and secure:

  • Server logs. My hosting provider records standard request data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time. This is normal for any website and is used for security and reliability.
  • Analytics. I may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that measures aggregate traffic such as page views and referrers. It does not use cookies and does not build profiles of individual visitors.

Cookies

The Site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and the analytics I use is cookieless, so there is no cookie banner to click through. Your browser may still store basic functional data needed to display the Site.

How I use your information

I use the information to:

  • respond to your inquiry and communicate with you;
  • evaluate, scope, and provide design and development services;
  • operate, secure, and improve the Site;
  • keep records of our correspondence; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not use it for advertising.

How your information is shared

I share information only with the service providers that help me run the Site and my business, and only as needed:

  • Netlify hosts the Site and processes form submissions.
  • Cloudflare provides the privacy-focused analytics described above, when enabled.
  • Proton Mail is my email provider and receives form submissions and any emails you send.
  • Stripe processes payments if you become a client and pay an invoice by card or bank debit. Stripe handles your payment details under its own privacy policy; I do not receive or store your full card number.

Billing information tied to a client engagement is also covered by the written agreement we sign.

I may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce my terms, or to protect rights, safety, and property. I never sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

How long I keep it

I keep inquiry and correspondence information for as long as needed to respond to you and, if we work together, for the length of our engagement plus a reasonable period afterward for records, legal, and tax purposes. You can ask me to delete your information at any time (see “Your rights”).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information I hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of your information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing; and
  • receive a copy of the information you provided in a portable format.

If you are in California, you have the right to know what personal information I collect, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. I do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, my legal bases for processing are your consent, my legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and running my business, and compliance with legal obligations; you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email me at Erick.Nolasco@Protonmail.com and I’ll respond within a reasonable time.

Where your information is processed

I am based in the United States, and my service providers may process and store information in the United States. If you contact me from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be handled here.

Children’s privacy

The Site is meant for business inquiries and is not directed to children. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided me information, contact me and I will delete it.

Other sites

The Site may link to other websites I do not control. This policy does not apply to them, and I am not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Security

I take reasonable measures to protect your information and rely on established providers (Netlify, Cloudflare, Proton Mail) that maintain their own security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I will change the “Last updated” date at the top. Please check back to stay informed.
